As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we are doing our best to adapt and adjust to these changes in order to better ensure the safety of our staff and clients.
To further enhance the safety measures we have previously set in place, we will still be implementing a closed door policy whereby patients will be triaged remotely by telephone prior to being admitted to the hospital. Clients will not be permitted to enter the clinic, and all communication will take place over the phone. We must implement this change in order to further reduce the risk of exposure/transmission of COVID-19 and improve social distancing efforts.
We encourage our clients to make payments by e-transfer, or we can process credit card transactions over the phone.
If your pet has been examined within the past year and has a health concern, we are attempting to answer many of your questions over the phone. We can also prescribe medications without an exam for special cases. For any concerns, we ask that you call ahead or e-mail us so that we can determine if an appointment is necessary.
We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that we are here to support you during this time. You are encouraged to contact the clinic by phone or e-mail so that we may help in situations where face-to-face appointments are not possible.
We appreciate your patience and understanding for our need to take these additional safety precautions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our priority is to provide a safe environment for our clients and staff, while continuing to provide the best care possible for our patients.
We wish you the best, and stay safe!
